My ‘Hands-On’ Experience with A Hands Free Electric Scooter (That Is Essentially A Hoverboard)

This is called a hands free electric scooter. It is basically a Segway without handles, and about as close as we can possibly come right now to the existence of an actual hoverboard. A friend of mine procured six of them (you read that correctly) and wanted to see what I thought. So how do I properly put into words what using one of these things is like?

Well, the above video seems to make it look easy, but I cannot express in words how inaccurate that is. Either that, the one I used was possessed by an evil spirit that wanted me to split my head on the sidewalk, or it is not nearly as easy as we have assumed and imagined up to now. Either that or I just suck at these things.

Still, be aware as they are all the rage right now among city dwelling geeks.

The EPIC SDCC 2015 Cosplay Music Video from Sneaky Zebra is Out! [Video]

My pals Nick and Gary from Sneaky Zebra have spent the past weekend filming cosplayers at SDCC to create yet another amazing cosplay music video, and let’s be quite frank about this, they’re the absolute best at this job, and it totally shows in the video.

I also have to thank Nick for the great photos he sent me, if it weren’t for him, we wouldn’t have any pictures of the event on GAS.

These guys are amazing, so be sure to share their video around and spread the joy that it inspires!

Looks Like Hideo Kojima Predicted His Own Fate Years Ago…

hids

As I am sure many of you have heard, Metal Gear creator and mastermind Hideo Kojima is no longer with Konami. Some say he quit, some speculate a firing, but what we do know is this creative genius will no longer be contributing to Konami games. Between that and Iwata, there’s been some pretty sad news in the last couple of weeks for us who grew up with Nintendo.

But if you look at the above pic from Metal Gear 4, it seems that someone may have had a suspicion that his time at Konami was limited. I guess sometimes fate wields a cruel hand (or) predestination is more powerful than we think. Either way, his particular brand of (nine hour cut-scene) madness will be missed (though it is safe to assume he won’t be unemployed for long).

Everything Is Just PERFECT Inside This ‘Fallout: Shelter’

RRBFirl

So Fallout: Shelter has become the new IT phone to game(sadly, only for iPhones right now), and if you haven’t played it yet, pics like this should help change that.

Yup, things are perfect alright. Depending on which of the two guys you ask, that is. Pretty sure the other guy would have a very different word to use than perfect.
