This is another contribution to the SUPER iam8bit show up now through September 10 in Los Angeles. Aled Lewis cleverly recreated historically significant paintings in 8-bit game mash-ups. (Our favorite is Leisure Suit Larry plus Nighthawks.)
This art project from Vikki Chu reinterprets the Ocarina of Time as a children’s book. The game’s plot is reduced to ten images, all of which are awesome individually. I kind of really want this to be an actual book, but for now I’ll have to settle for using the bigger image files as wallpapers.
