Can you believe that this video dates back to 1999? This isn’t the original song though, but a cover which was featured on David Hasselhoff’s album “Hooked on a Feeling” from 1997. Love the inclusion of computer-generated imagery in the video! Back then, CGI looked so fake!
And no, this isn’t the version used in Guardians of the Galaxy either! :)

I’m sorry, but Yakuza 0 is about as much fun as I have EVER HAD in an open-world game. While Japanese developers seemed to be vanishing for a while, from the blistering fun of the aforementioned Yakuza game to the hottest Persona just dropping and dropping jaws in the process, safe to say Japanese game developers are back, big time, and that is damn good news.
They tend to make really good (somewhat trippy) games and take more artistic and creative “chances” than most developers from America. The above video has some shining examples of this.

How tough this was to pull off cannot be overstated. I tried to be as faithful to the original orchestral version as possible while bringing it to a more traditional space, somewhere halfway between the natural celtic sounding property of the instruments use and the traditional japanese approach of phrasing.
I’m probably somewhere halfway in between but this is the end result.

When it comes to popularity versus screen-time, there may be no bigger winner than Boba Fett. For decades, fans have been fervently buying action figures, comics, and novels featuring the world’s favorite bounty hunter. Sorry, Dog. People love Fett, even though he has about four lines of dialogue in the entire Original Trilogy before being knocked into a giant pit by a blind guy. Because of his popularity and his limited screentime, it would be easy to think that Boba Fett doesn’t have any hidden secrets. However, the truth is that there’s still plenty you probably don’t know about this mysterious character from a galaxy far, far away.
