While browsing through the “geekery” section of Etsy today, I stumbled on this totally awesome-looking Dr. Who-themed gel MacBook Pro Skin Cover from Etsy user stickitskins. Looking to turn your Macbook Pro into a conversation starter? This cover totally ought to do the trick.
Gel Skins give your Apple MacBook Pro 13″ 15″ 17″ a completely custom 3-D look. Offering armor protection with style. Apple MacBook Pro 13″ 15″ 17″ Gel Skins are created by applying a clear resin coating over the skin to enhance the graphics and creating a eye-popping more attractive appearance to your device. This gives the graphic a 3-D effect. They also work with most third party Apple MacBook Pro 13″ 15″ 17″ covers.
Deviant art user Zhon made this creepy Tauntaun costume for Starfest 2009. Hmmmm… I wonder if the thing smells as bad on the inside as Han Solo reports in episode V.

Written by Darren J. Gendron, and illustrated by Obsidian Abnormal, The Monster Alphabet is a 26-page board book featuring 26 legendary monsters, each associated with a letter of the alphabet.
When I found out I was going to become a father, I wrote The Monster Alphabet. I wanted a book to read to my son that was filled with nerdy delight, and came up with an alphabet based off the monsters of legend.
After seeing the video of a bearded dragon playing Ant Crusher we featured a few days ago, Youtuber KoreanFrogMania decided to try putting his African bullfrog in front of the game. Check it out!

When I was a kid, my mother was always on the hunt for every Calvin and Hobbs book. My favorite comics were always Calvin’s sick and twisted snowmen vignettes, which was ironic because growing up in Southern California, I only saw snow actually fall at my house a total of four times when I was growing up. Anyways, here’s a recreation of the best of those scenes depicting the creative demise of snowmen by Jim Frommeyer and others.

Warning: Do not watch if you have epilepsy.
Watching this on the Internet is totally fine, but if I’d have this guy as a neighbor, I’d probably feel a strong urge to go and sabotage his setup.
