Japanese Airline To Paint a Jet Like R2-D2 [VIDEO + PICS]

As part of a promotional campaign with Disney, Japan’s All Nippon Airlines will paint one of their Boeing 787’s to resemble everyone’s favorite astromech droid in honor of Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

All Nippon Airlines also has several Pokemon-themed jets in service.

The Dreamliner jet will fly internationally starting this fall as part of a five-year campaign.

According to Digital Trends:

The “Star Wars Project” is a five-year campaign that will take the plane into 2020, when Star Wars IX – the final in this new trilogy – is released.

‘The Hoff’ is Back in This ’80s-Tastic Music Video for “Kung Fury”

David Sandberg is a director living in Sweden who recently asked for $200,000 on Kickstarter to fund a movie called Kung Fury.

Over $600,000 was donated.

According to the film’s official website, the movie “features arcade robots, dinosaurs, Nazis, vikings, Norse gods, mutants and a super kung fu-cop called Kung Fury, all wrapped up in an ’80s-style action-packed adventure.”

Oh, and did we mention it also spans 1980s Miami, 1940s Germany, and Asgard?

Robot’s Encounter With Sperm Whale Will Leave You Speechless
