MIB 23: Insane Men in Black/21 Jump Street Crossover Gets Named

cb

When I first heard that the (surprisingly hilarious) 21 Jump Street movies were getting a crossover with the Men in Black franchise I thought someone was playing a prank on me. It seemed TOO out there to be true (though I was not mad at the idea as I’m a fan of both series’).

Come to find out, it IS true and it now has a name. MIB 23. Though it seems Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones are not likely to come back, I still hold out hope that this insane film will work on some profoundly self-aware level. Or it won’t. Just gotta wait and see.

But if it is as good as the last few 21 Jump Street movies and first few Men in Black, I will be waiting in line with the rest of you by the time this it finally comes out.

AMC Could Allow Texting In Movie Theaters

amc

The new head of AMC Entertainment says the movie theater chain may welcome and even encourage customers using cellphones during some screenings.

Speaking to Variety, Adam Aron said the company needed to “reshape” the movie theater product to attract millennials who don’t have the habit of attending movies in the same way as their predecessors. (He apparently hasn’t thought the problem might be charging $14 or more to see a single movie.)

Questioned further he said this might include allowing people to text or use phones, arguing that:

When you tell a 22-year-old to turn off the phone, don’t ruin the movie, they hear please cut off your left arm above the elbow. You can’t tell a 22-year-old to turn off their cellphone. That’s not how they live their life.

When Variety asked if this could mean designating specific texting sections, Aron said it was more likely an entire screening could be declared “texting friendly.” He did acknowledge the problem would have to be handled carefully because existing moviegoers wouldn’t be happy.

While comment sections are hardly the most reliable form of market research, the responses on Variety’s site suggest that not only are customers against the idea, but it would deter many from attending.

One of the most talked about characters in Blizzard’s Overwatch right now is Tracer, mainly because of the controversy she caused surrounding one of her victory poses. The pose has now been replaced by Blizzard, and Korean cosplayer Tasha has recreated the replacement perfectly. You can check out the pics (and Tasha’s AMAZING costume) in the picture gallery below.

This is the maze that players must navigate every time they wish to save Sarah’s baby brother. Each game is different with the blank card spaces being filled with the magical encounters and monsters that are depicted on the deck of cards that comes with the game, this ensures a great deal of replayability and unpredictability in the game, giving the Labyrinth its signature feel.

The game consists of two distinct stages, one where the group must adventure through the labyrinth trying to find the goblin city whilst keeping their willpower as high as possible (nobody wants to fall into the oubliette!), and a second action-packed stage where the players must fight their way into Jareth’s castle where Sarah must say the magical words that will release her brother.
