Prometheus Pre-Prequel! [Video]

There’s a reason the Prometheus crew is so effective at dealing with aliens: good training!

Mountain Bike Folds Into Backpack for Easier Hiking [PICS] [VIDEO]

I wouldn’t know, but apparently biking and backpacking can be difficult, especially if you’re attempting to climb up a mountain and then bike back down.

Well, Those of You Who Do This, your problem is now SOLVED thanks to the German-made Bergmönch!

Meaning “mountain monk” in German, this bicycle actually folds into a wearable backpack (or this backpack pack *unfolds* unto a bicycle)!

Want to see it in action?? Then watch below!

“Ultimate Zombie Destoyer” Does Not Disappoint! [PIC] [VIDEO]

Something tells me I’m gonna need more than the box of 500 bullets sitting in the closet next to my .22 Smith & Wesson pistol when the Zombie Apocalypse finally occurs. (Because let’s face it; we all know it’s inevitable.)

Well, thanks to Moss Pawn in Jonesboro, GA — not super-far from my Atlanta apartment, actually…hmmmm — I will now DEFINITELY die, because something tells me they’re not gonna give up their “Ultimate AR-15 Mall Ninja Tactical Zombie Destroyer” when Z-Day comes.

This AR-15 is outfitted with nine 30-round magazines, three laser sights, numerous flashlights, bi-pod, muzzle break, and three red dot scopes.

It also weighs a whopping 23-pounds, so…great for distance, at least, which I guess is half the battle, right?

And do you want to see how it works?? OF COURSE YOU DO.

Shiny Dragon is Shiny! [Pictures]

Amon-a-boat (get it?) created this dragon sculpture entirely out of CDs.

136 of them, to be exact.

A quarter in his mouth and a golf ball on his foot, for scale.

Write George, Write Like the Wind (George R. R. Martin)

An amusing little song by Paul and Storm at geekandsundry, who are urging good man George R. R. Martin to just get on with writing the next book in A Song of Ice and Fire, the epic series that the Game of Thrones TV show is based off.

If you haven’t yet finished the series (or are only watching the HBO series without reading the books – something I don’t believe anyone should do) don’t worry, there aren’t any major spoilers in their cute little song.

Zelda-Themed Nursery is Hand Painted [PIC] [VIDEO]

Dad-to-be Cole Bradburn painted a Zelda-themed nursery for a little Link or little Zelda all his own.

It took over 150 hours during a 3-month period and “copious amounts of root beer.”

You can also check out the video of his finished work.

Bradburn is also the same man who painted this Yoshi-themed nursery.

Dr. Whooves is Back for More

What do you get when you cross a never-ending TV series with a show built for little girls but loved (possibly more) by Bronies? An epic cross-over that deserves at least a sequel (or even a reboot in a few years…and another…and another…).

If you didn’t catch the first Dr. Whooves cross-over of My Little Pony and Dr. Who then catch up here and then come back to watch episode 2…back by popular demand.

Stormtrooper in the Rain Tattoo [Picture]

From Geeks are Sexy reader Amy:

My name’s Amy. I love tattoos. I am a HUGE geek. I collect comics. I can quote Firefly. I am my friends’ and family’s personal tech support. I live my life by lessons I learned in Star Wars. In fact, I recently decided to get an epic Stormtrooper tattoo. Although I have several fantastic pieces already, I really wanted to show my geek side off to the world. Help me show the world that geekgirls (and Star Wars, and tattoos) totally rock?

Thanks Amy!
