Hamster Things – ‘Stranger Things’ with Hamsters [Video]

The folks from Mashable Watercooler had the brilliant idea of producing a video where they imagined an alternate reality where instead of human being, the characters from ‘Stranger Things’ are a cast of tiny rescue hamsters. Have you noticed that cats have pretty much disappeared from Internet videos now, and the new fad is using hamster to accumulate views. People need to start featuring cats again.

Binge Watching [Comic]

binge

What, time to rejoin the real world? there’s just too many shows on Netflix for us to ever do that. I’n currently catching up on Gotham season 2 and I have a lot of stuff left to watch. Can’t wait for the Iron Fist show to start, and a new season of Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Sense 8, and many, many more. I still need to watch Marco Polo too.

Guitar Zero [Comic]

Love the dramatic glasses adjustment!

Pretty good for one person might often look pretty when compared to another, super “qualified” person. All things are relative. I’ve never tried playing Guitar Hero, though, and neither Rock Band. I’m pretty sure I would totally suck at it. I prefer adventure games and RPGs anyways, so no big loss to me! :)

Why Hurricane Categories Make a Difference (From Cat 1 to Cat 5) [Video]

During a hurricane you usually hear meteorologists refer to its intensity by categories. If you don’t know the difference between a category 1 and a category 5 hurricane, The Weather Channel meteorologist Mark Elliot breaks it down for you.

Wind Speed:

Cat 1: 74 to 95MPH (119 – 153 Km/h)
Cat 2: 96 to 110MPH (154 – 177 Km/h)
Cat 3: 111 to 130MPH (178 – 209 Km/h)
Cat 4: 131 to 155MPH (210 – 249 Km/h)
Cat 5: 155+ MPH (250+ Km/h)

Cup of Joe [Comic]

I don’t know about you, but I wouldn’t want my cup of coffee to start talking to me, especially if it has eyes, names itself “Joe” and asks me to put its content inside me. That’s a big no-no.

This is the first time I’ve ever seen Johan Vinet’s awesome artwork, and I really like what the artist is doing. His Tumblr blog is packed with awesome animated 16-bit-style artwork, each piece as brilliant as the “Stranger Things” animation you see pictured above. I strongly suggest that you check out more of his work at the links below, including this fabulous intro for a fake “Dark Crystal” game:
