Youtuber David Chen asked a Google Home assistant to tell him joke for 15 minutes, and here is the video of the result. Google Home is the equivalent of the Amazon Echo, for those who’ve never heard of the gadget.
I asked Google Home to tell me jokes for 15 minutes. After about 8 minutes or so, the jokes started to repeat. Towards the end, Google Home actually seemed to break down for a second, overwhelmed with the rate of joke-telling.

11 Years ago, I started this website just for fun. Back then, little did I know that it would attract such a big following. Then, in 2011, after my third “geekling” was born, I decided to stay home to take better care of them while working full time on the site. With 3 kids (one that suffers from autism spectrum disorder) and a job as a sysadmin that regularly asked me to work during the nights and weekends, the decision was not difficult to make.
Now, 5 years later, I’m still home, still spending A LOT of time seeking the best and geekiest stuff of the web for you guys, but unfortunately, the ad market isn’t what it used to be, and considering that “Geeks are Sexy” costs me the price of a fairly pricey car to run each year, a little help would definitely go a long way to improve my little corner of the web.
Plus, more and more people are using ad blockers nowadays (25% of the readership,) even though these are necessary to keep websites alive. Since the whole world seems to have fallen in love with Netflix’s Stranger Things, the folks from Funko have decided to release a collection of Pop figures in the likeness of some of the series most beloved and hated characters: Eleven, Will, Dustin, Barb, Mike, Lucas, and the Demogorgon. Joyce will also soon be available as well, and even though Chief Hopper, Dr. Brenner, Steve Harrington have not been announced yet, I’m sure they’ll get their own figure soon enough.
Yep, most English speaking people in Canada call a coffee with two creams and two sugars a “double-double,” and usually, these are Tim Hortons customers. Next time I head over to get a coffee, I think I’ll try asking for a “quinquagintuble quinquagintuble” to see how the employee behind the counter reacts.
