Legend Of Zelda Includes Movement History & Gauntlet Mode

A map overlay with Link’s past movements may be the highlight of the upcoming The Master Trial DLC for Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Other tweaks make gathering Korok seeds a little easier, while the main new gameplay content is a hard mode and a gauntlet challenge.

The “hero’s path” addition is an overlay that appears on the main map if you choose to switch it on. It will show your movement over the last 200 hours of gameplay and works retroactively rather than only starting the tracking when you turn the feature on.

Meanwhile the Korok Mask is the most notable of the equipment changes, with many of the rest being purely for appearance. Wearing the mask in the game will mean the controller vibrates when Link is near an uncollected seed.

For those looking for more of a challenge, a new hard mode will mean every enemy is one rank higher (with appropriate increases in victory rewards) and has other advantages including regenerating health.

The main content addition is The Trial Of The Sword. It requires link to battle through 45 new rooms, each with a wave of enemies. The challenge comes from Link starting the series with no weapons or armor. The reward comes in the form of getting the Master Sword permanently powered-up to do double damage to every enemy.

The Master Trial will drop in the summer. It’s not available to buy on its own but rather is part of a $19.99 expansion pass that will include this and one other later release.

Officially-Licensed Guardians of the Galaxy Tiki Mugs

I already have some Star Wars tiki mugs, but if you’re more a fan of the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise, you’ll totally love these!

Let these Marvel box office favorites protect you from the Terran evils of scurvy and malaria with these Guardians of the Galaxy Geeki Tikis. They come as a set of 6: Baby Groot, Drax, Gamora, Groot, Rocket Raccoon, and Star-Lord. We can’t split them up; they’re not so much a team as a family. Each holding 14 oz. more or less, they look pretty dang adorable with a tiny cocktail umbrella and some skewered fruit. Just don’t tell Rocket.
