  1. it’s funny because cosplay is totally consent. You agree by entering the venue to be photographed by any number of people (for any number of reasons) as part of the terms and conditions of the event. It’s all in the small print (so cosplay or not, don’t expect to be safe from photographers).

  2. Other than taking pictures in the bathroom which is immoral if not illegal… these videos are stupid. If you go dressed up in cosplay, you should just deal with people taking pictures of you. As for asking for pictures… I have on many occasions and the cosplayers (mostly scantly clad females) were not approachable or even close to being friendly. If a professional photographer, celebrity or blogger was present (or near) you were shit out of luck.
