Geeks Are Sexy is sending corespondent Meredith Placko to Austin, TX next week to cover the annual film, music and multi-media event. And we want to feature you! Austin is known for keeping it weird, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise that cosplayers will strut their stuff during the event. In addition to the cosplay fun on Sunday, SXSW offers a host of film screenings, live music, and in-depth panels with some of the most notable people in the industry. If you are attending the event, some geekworthy events to take note include the premier of the new Veronica Mars film, the Mashable House (complete with Grumpy Cat and a wrecking ball) and the SXSW Gaming Expo, which IS free to the public!
