Wireless Data From Every Light Bulb [Video]

What if every light bulb in the world could also transmit data? At TEDGlobal, Harald Haas demonstrates, for the first time, a device that could do exactly that. By flickering the light from a single LED, a change too quick for the human eye to detect, he can transmit far more data than a cellular tower — and do it in a way that’s more efficient, secure and widespread.

First Glimpse of Anne Hathaway as Catwoman

Following in the footsteps of Eartha Kitt, Julie Newmar, Halle Berry and Michelle Pfeiffer, Anne Hathaway has made her official debut as Catwoman in the upcoming The Dark Knight Rises. According to Slashfilm, though, the good people at Warner Bros. are being very careful not to actually call her Catwoman; even the official photo is labeled selina_kyle.jpg, not Catwoman.jpg, which is raising a few eyebrows. What do you think? Impressed? Unimpressed? Or is the general consensus that any Catwoman is better than Halle Berry’s Catwoman?
