DOING IT RIGHT: Kellan & Katie’s ‘Firefly’ and All-Around Sci-Fi-Themed Wedding [Pics]

Kellan, a university student, and Katie, a high school English teacher, came together at Dragon*Con and fell in love over “Firefly.”

As a result, their wedding was chock-full of “Firefly” references — as well as other sci-fi references, especially “Star Wars”, to both symbolize and solidify their geek union.

‘Star Wars’ Helmets for a Cause! [Pics]

The As You Wish Helmet Project is a charity art event benefiting the Make A Wish Foundation.

The project features over 40 helmets, all of them re-imagined Boba Fett and Clone Trooper helmets, by such illustrious artists and companies like Kotobukiya, Weta Workshop, and Volpin Props.

The helmet auction begins August 27 on eBay.
