Artist Builds Beautiful Fantastic Four Sculptures… Then Goes Full Supervillain!

Ever wonder what would happen if an incredibly talented sculptor got too powerful? For the release of The Fantastic Four: First Steps, artist Steven Richter created busts of Marvel’s First Family using materials that match their powers: Mr. Fantastic from stretchy rubber bands, The Thing from actual stone, The Human Torch from matchsticks, and a translucent Invisible Woman.

Then, like a true supervillain, he DESTROYS them all. No Doombot, no cosmic ray… just one man with artistic talent and an appetite for destruction.
