Dogs have always been the unsung heroes of horror movies: first to growl at empty hallways, first to know when something wicked this way comes. Now, one finally gets the lead role.
GOOD BOY is a supernatural horror story told entirely from a dog’s point of view. Directed by Ben Leonberg, the film stars Indy the retriever (the director’s own pup!) as he follows his human, Todd, into a long-abandoned family home in the country. But while Todd is settling in, Indy knows something’s wrong: unseen presences stalk the halls, a ghostly dog delivers warnings, and dark forces tighten their grip.
When Todd begins to fall under the house’s dark influence, it’s up to Indy to fight back against the evil threatening to drag his best friend into the afterlife.
GOOD BOY hits North American theaters on October 3. Horror fans, don’t forget to trust the dog: he knows what’s coming.
