Yesterday, during IGN Live, we got our first real peek at the Borderlands movie, and boy, does it look like a dumpster fire on Pandora. Imagine your local comic con, but with fewer costumes and more disappointment. After the high bar set by video game adaptations like The Last of Us and Fallout, it seems Hollywood decided it was time to remind us that not all adaptations can be winners.
From the scene dropped during IGN Live’s Day 1 showcase, it’s clear that expectations should be lowered to basement level. Think cheap sets , bland action, and pacing slower than Claptrap on a low battery. Watch below:
