Marvel Studios has officially lifted the veil on the eagerly anticipated cast for its upcoming Fantastic Four film, and the lineup is nothing short of fantastic. Pedro Pascal steps into the role of Reed Richards, also known as Mister Fantastic, while Vanessa Kirby embodies Susan Storm as the Invisible Woman. Joseph Quinn ignites the screen as Johnny Storm, better known as the Human Torch, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach transforms into Ben Grimm, also known as the Thing. Directed by Matt Shakman, this cinematic rendition of the beloved superhero team is slated for release on July 25, 2025.

Marvel’s announcement also included a glimpse of the film’s aesthetic direction, hinting at a nostalgic ’60s retro vibe that pays homage to the Fantastic Four’s classic comic book roots. The unveiling of a new logo, along with the inclusion of the team’s robotic companion, HERBIE, adds to the excitement surrounding the project.

Furthermore, Marvel Studios surprised fans by announcing a new release date for the Fantastic Four film, swapping places with the Thunderbolts, which is now set to premiere on May 2, 2025. This strategic move positions the Fantastic Four as a centerpiece of Marvel’s cinematic lineup, heightening anticipation for the team’s long-awaited debut in the MCU.
