A crazy thing started over here in French Canada; people have started flashing their exterior porch lights the length of a song at 8H30 sharp every evening since Tuesday.

Why one might ask? It is a simple way to show solidarity, compassion and support to all of our neighbors stuck in isolation, or respecting social distancing. But the most important reason of all is to show support to all essential and healthcare workers around us, without going out and hugging them! My heart swells each time I see my neighbors joining the movement! Even big buildings and offices have started flicking their lights at 8H30!

This movement has been accompanied by decorating windows and doors with a simple thing: a rainbow with the caption «Everything will be ok »
