Expo Galaxie: Star Wars Passion For Charity

Last weekend, we attended an event held by some friends of ours in Blainville, Quebec: Jef Berard and Kim Martineau from The Space Trash Show podcast. Aside from being life-long Star Wars superfans, these two are wonderfully passionate, creative and talented! Almost everything (costumes included) at the expo was made by the couple.

Now we don’t usually talk about these events but this one was different: every penny voluntarily spent was given to the Philippe Laprise Foundation (French), an amazing group of people helping kids living with ADHD and their families.

With help from comic book artist and writer Dan Parent, who designed the expo’s pins and patches, and Hybride technologies, who regularly collaborate with Industrial Light And Magic (SOLO, The Mandalorian, etc.), this event raised a few thousand dollars. The exact numbers should be released soon.

Thousands lined-up all weekend to witness Jef and Kim’s passion and hard-work.

So here’s to passion and helping your fellow human!
