Sure we all knew that Stranger Things would be coming back for a third season, but now, it’s official! A little earlier today Netflix announced via their official Twitter account that the show would indeed be coming back, even though the official release date was not revealed. They announced the big return after doing a poll asking their followers “Should we do another season of Stranger Things?” Needless to say, people responded en masse saying “YES!”

I don’t think anyone is really surprised after all the hype and the extremely positive reviews the second season got. Netflix never releases streaming figures for their Originals, but we all know that the numbers for the show must be very, very high.
Season one and two currently both hold a 94 percent approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
