Hasbro recently collaborated with Xiaomi, a Chinese electronics company located in Beijing, to create a new version of the Gen 1 transformer “Soundwave.” This time, the iconic robot no longer transforms into a cassette player but into a resemblance of Xiaomi’s Mi Pad 2 tablet.

The robot transforms from one form to the other in 30 steps and will be priced at around 169 Yuan ($26 US) if the crowdfunding campaign succeeds.
