When thrown into a fire, The Elide fire ball can extinguish it almost instantly. I’m not sure what that thing is made of, but I’m pretty sure there’s magic involved somewhere.

Seriously, this thing is probably filled with salts and ammonium bicarbonate, which generate carbon dioxide and ammonia gas upon release. These can extinguishing a small fire almost instantly.
