In partnership with Disney, Kay Jewelers has created this custom 4.5-inch tall BB-8 droid made from 18 carat gold and about 860 diamonds. Building the thing took 600 hours of work. Wow!

The droid will be auctioned off for charity on charitybuzz.com to help the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
