  1. To say that I am skeptical of the movie would be an understatement. Part of the reason the original was so successful was that it felt believable (even though it was based on junk science). The idea that raptors were these super intelligent creatures that would eat you just because they could and there was very little you could do about it felt very believable which is why it was part of all three movies. Now, to have them suddenly be trainable which doesn’t fit the story at all seems very weird and not believable. It also feels a bit like there are special effects for the sake of having special effects and I’m not a big fan of that idea. For as much as I love the original (I’ve probably seen it 100+ times as it is perhaps my all time favorite movie), and to an extent even the second and third movie, I’m not getting a good feeling about this movie. Right now, the only thing that has me looking forward to it is having the same head scientist from the original movie.

    • I agree the training part really takes away a lot, its like he’s going to use the raptors to fight the “new” bad dino. Seriously? why do we need dinos as good guys if its going to be a good dino at least make it plausible like a triceratops or something of that nature. Their defenses are about as laughable as the previous park with the technology they made the dinos you would think they would have better weapons. I really want just dinos being the bad guys not some genetica freak.
