A young computer programmer, Caleb (Domhnall Gleeson), wins a week with reclusive genius and tech CEO, Nathan (Oscar Isaac), at his exclusive house in the mountains.
Nathan wants Caleb to spend the week performing a ‘Turing Test’ on a humanoid artificial intelligence named ‘Ava’ (Alicia Vikander) who is a cyborg / robot / android.
