25 Worst Cities To Be In When The Walking Dead Attack [CHART]

Real estate website Trulia calculated the 25 worst cities to be in — or flee to — during a zombie apocalypse. Their criteria? Highest walk score, lowest hardware store density, highest hospital density, and most congestion.

Incidentally, Atlanta isn’t even on the list!

  1. Right… see major cities would be out of the question, period. It is strange that Atlanta was NOT on the list… which seems retarded given what we have seen on the show. But for the same reason you would expect to see Atlanta is the same reason that major cities would be a BAD idea. Stay away from major metropolitan areas. In reality you are far better off in small towns… preferably one with multiple gun shops, or pawn shops.

  2. I would have choosen:

Nr of Guns per capita / Population density. Killing with short ranged weapon against a disease transferred by bodyfluid seems like a bad idea, despite the tv-show … .

If you compare countries Canada seems quite a good choice to survive! Followed by the scandinavian countries.

    • I think the further north you go, the better chance you have; period. Unless walkers can metabolize enough heat to keep themselves moving in the winter, they’ll be screwed when everything starts to freeze over. Would be a good time to run around smashing zombies frozen to the ground.

      • Id agree but for the fact that viruses tend to bring with them a fever, with the virus running rampant in the body i’d assume that the overall body temperature of a zombie would be at least a few degrees higher than a normal humans, giving them a slight natural immunity to the cold (although go too cold and im sure your right, but that’s not going to be good for humans either)
But the emphasis is of course on “Assume”

        • And it would depend on the clothing the individual Zombies are wearing as well i guess, the more layers the better, but the Zombies in the north would all be better packed than in the south already because the people would have put more clothes on to begin with.
They would obviously deteriorate with time though
