Good news, breakfast fans: General Mills is bringing Count Chocula, Boo Berry, Franken Berry, Frute Brute and Fruity Yummy Mummy back just in time for Halloween this year. While Frute Brute hasn’t existed in my lifetime, the cereal did get a brief cameo in Quentin Tarantino’s Reservoir Dogs, which can only mean that it is in fact awesome and that we will enjoy it.
And good news for those of you who don’t like the new, updated packaging: Target stores will sell the cereal in retro boxes. Like so:
I’m considering buying them all just to have some throwback Halloween decor. What about you guys? (And who has tried Frute Brute? Is it good?)
