The Sagan Series (Part 3) – A Reassuring Fable

For those of you who might feel “attacked” by this video, please note that Sagan doesn’t clearly say that God does not exist, he only says that our interpretation of what is “God” is clearly flawed and biased.

Oh please! Any interpretation of "God" other than it being a mythological and imaginary being *is* by definition flawed. Whoever feels "attacked" by a video that merely states facts about the world should seriously seek professional help.

  2. Religions have had thousands of years to provide tangible, irrefutable evidence of their deities. So far 0 has been produced. How long do we need to apologize for delusional beliefs for which there is no evidence?

  4. Sorry Carl, but you are wrong on this one. Man is the reason for all creation, we are God's children, not his pets or hobby, his children. He prepared a home for us for a reason. Not just this home we call earth either. I can understand why you think what you do, not knowing your relationship with God, who God is, what his purposes and intentions are, but if wanted to, you could find all that out. Oh wait, you're dead, so you already know.

    • Replace "God' with 'Unicorn" or "Leprechaun" in your post and it makes just as much sense with just as much evidence.

If you want to believe your fairy tale, by all means go for it.

But that people continue to make excuses on behalf of others for calling it for what it is, a fairy tale, that's ridiculous.

Welcome to the 21st Century where we have a far greater understanding of how things work than 2,000 year old scribblings.
