Pretty sure the asker understands that 120 seconds is 2 minutes, but that their *microwave* doesn't understand that. It sounds to me like their microwave has numbers, and a ":" sign. When they simply type in "60" it cooks for 1 minute. When they type "1:00" and enter it cooks for 1 minute. When they type "1:00" and enter, then "1:00" and enter again it cooks for 2 minutes. However, when they type "60" and enter, then "60" and enter again, it cooks for 1 minute, 20 seconds, or 80 seconds. To me it sounds like more of a problem with the microwave than the user.
So this person is still using the standard way of counting numbers [10, 20, 30 etc] instead of stopping at 60 for one minute. ¬¬ They should be ashamed of being so stupid.
Having to read stupid all day I have insight into their world, its an input issue. The microwave shes using can have input in seconds or minutes and seconds. Any three digit number according the the microwaves programming is automatically considered minutes and seconds instead of just seconds So in terms of the program in the microwave 2 minutes (probably a add minute button) and a 120 seconds are not the same numerically entered.
well if you add 60 seconds and 60 seconds in the terms of 60 seconds equalin one minute, then you will in fact microwave your food for 2 minutes. old microwaves had the "add 30 seconds" button (now its usually just a minute) and if you were to press the 30 second button 4 times, you would be putting your food on for 2 minutes. there is absolutely no difference in 60 seconds and one minute! OWNAGE!!! =D
I think he is saying on a microwave you would put 2:00 for two minute, and sinse 1:20 is 120 seconds it isnt the same? i dont know this guy doesnt make much sense…

Sigh…I guess mathematic isn't that person's strong point…or we have a troll =P
I want to facepalm myself INTO my grave.

I'm saddened by the state of Mathematics education in the world. Did someone give this lady a lobotomy?
i think she means if she puts in 120 on the microwave, the microwave will go for one minute and 20 seconds, not 120 seconds, itd only be 80 seconds
Chupame el pito
one minute is 60 seconds not 100 seconds moron.

It’s someone trying to do some original take on the 99 sec vs. 1 minute microwave conundrum. And failing.

Really? I didn't know that, thanks for enlightening us all. I thought this post was funny because of her hilarious name "Remmy P" LOL
!… I don't get the question, I failed math… but I know how to use a microwave tho…
whatever it is (stupid, troll, …), it is epic !

I think 60+60= is not 1 minute 20 seconds, it is 120 seconds, means 60+60=120 seconds= 2 minutes
