Crayola Thanks the Tea Partiers

This is hilarious! Watch as fictional Crayola CEO Michelle Perry thanks protesters for making Crayola-brand markers the most used tools for creating protest signs.

Edit: Closing the comments section on this post. I just posted this as most people thought it was funny. Obviously, it was a bad idea.

  1. Wow that's pretty insulting. At what point do American citizans grow tired of the constant bemoaning of the Tea Party? Is there any proof that they are as stupid as some say? Are any better as citizans to continue to call those with opposing views stupid? Where does it end?

    • The proof that they are as stupid as people say is the fact that they can't spell, don't know what they're talking about, and act like racist morons. Unless you are one, then the stupidity factor is obvious after about 5 minutes.

Additionally, claiming that Tony was "flaming Dan on his mistake" would be a good argument if it weren't for the fact that it wasn't a mistake. He clearly believed this was actually a Crayola spokesperson. Which is basically the problem all around. Not getting enough information and then getting defensive when it's blatantly obvious you didn't get enough information.

      • Well you took my flame bait and ran with it! You couldn't have done a better job proving my point! You claim that people are stupid just by their mis-spellings. You also claim they have no idea what they are talking about, but provide no proof. No defending arguement on your part. Then call them racist morons. These are truly genius level remarks.

Oh and if Dan really believed that the video was from Crayola and it wasn't, which I agree is stated, does that not constitut a mistake or is there some other classifacation for that.

I await your briliantly worded reply

  3. That is condescending and insulting. Way to go Crayola! You just offended a very large group of consumers.

It's funny I don't remember them making fun of war protesters, Bush protesters, WTO protesters, or any other type of liberal group who uses signs while protesting.

    • Holy crap Dan,

You embody everything that makes the ignorant protester so much fun! If you seriously thought this was a real campaign from Crayola, then you need to go ahead and check yourself in to a place where someone with an IQ over 37 can take care of you.

Did you not pick up on the sarcasm? Did you not read the description under the video "Watch as fictional Crayola CEO Michelle Perry thanks protesters… "

YES, that says FICTIONAL Crayola CEO… that means its made up. You know.. Like the Easter Bunny and Santa.

      • @Tony

As you flame Dan on his mistake, do you have anything to add on his statement? Or the statement that (I) made (I assume that's for Independent??)?? I'm curious since that would speak more of an individual than criticizing mistakes made while posting. Except maybe for the grammar issues from (I)….Wow.

  5. I'm wondering how Crayola feels about have their trademarked name and logo used, probably without permission.

  7. People are complaining about people picking on the group that blatantly screams racist comments and spits on people?

    Wow…..

Sorry, take your butthurt elsewhere. Teabaggers.

    • An interesting accusation, I hope you have proof to back this up since no one else does. So far an official request for evidence that this occured on the March 20 protest has been ignored by the very people who made the accusation. Why? If it really happened then this would be all over the Net and it would detroy the Tea Party as a whole and yet nothing.

As a left leaning Independent I find my self at a crossroad with those that I side with making statements that they cannot prove and those who are on the recieving end of such critizism, the majority of which are Independents, not Conservatives. You are not helping the cause, oh and by the way there's a 100 grand reward for evindence that your accusation occured so don't spend it all in one place. Cheers!

  9. If this site wants to start criticizing political groups, especially those exercising their right to free speech, then GAS will no longer be considered a geek/technology site and therefore serves no purpose for me.

As for you neanderthals accusing the TEA party of racism, show me some evidence please. Those charges at the health care bill protest were fabricated. The only racism comes from liberals and those on the left.

Not to mention the misspelled signs are more likely from the 'infiltrators' who have stated that they deliberately misspell signs at TEA party rallies to make them look stupid. If they were really that stupid, then why go through the effort of making them look that way?

Protest is apparently only patriotic when it goes against a republican.

  11. I wonder how much this crap cost the taxpayer.

osamabama pobably approved a couple mil to facilitate and perpetuate this lie.

The LOONY LIBS are so desperate that they even have sites up to get trashy people to go to tea-party rallies WITH misspelled signs and call people names. What a bunch of scum.

Truth and facts don't work for the left, so what's left?

Smoke and mirrors, deceit, and outright lies.
