It has been noted many times over by now how similar the storyline of Avatar is to Pocahontas or several other films. Not that this is a big deal (there’s nothing new under the sun, right?), but it inspired this fantastic video commentary on that similarity. And it looks like this was done for a class project, which is kind of neat.
