IE9 Screen Shot: Looks like Chrome?

A little earlier today, it seems that Microsoft Russia accidentally posted what appears to be an IE9 screen shot on its press site. The picture was quickly taken down, but fortunately, someone was fast enough to grab it in time. Check it out:

Looks a little like Chrome doesn’t it? In the meantime, we’ll have to wait until September 15th to learn if IE9′s interface will really look like what you see above.

  1. I hate to admit it, but I'm starting to fall for Firefox again — and it's because of Vimperator. Can you say "mouseless browsing"? How about less than an inch of unusable vertical space (no toolbars or menus unless you want them)? It all works like vim, and like vim it's highly customizable.

  2. Am I only one who like it? It saves more vertical space than other browsers. I hope it's not a fake.

  3. I like it. Nothing like chrome though.
I doubt this is what IE9 will look like by default. I don't like that large back button and the tabs would need to go above/below the address bar. Knowing Microsoft, it should be fairly customizable.
