Mouse 2.0: Multi-Touch Meets The Mouse

The folks at Microsoft Research just released a short video demonstrating 5 novel multi-touch mice combining the standard capabilities of a regular computer mouse, but with some multi-touch features thrown in.

    I think it’s interesting that they are still developing the mouse as an interface system, they seem so…out dated even with the new systems they just seem like fancy ways of zooming in and out. (except for the sphere they showed someone using with the First person shooter… that might prove interesting…

    Bring back the Trackball Explorer is all I have to say.
