If you ever need to download a file from RapidShare be warned: You may have to spend several hours trying to decrypt their CAPTCHA pictures in order to download a file.
Each displayed letter contains the picture of a cat or dog. To proceed with a download, you’ll have to type in only the letters that include a cat. Good luck!

well it’s still more readable than some other captchas out there :P
No, it is not, this rapidshare captcha with cat is the lowest move i’ve ever seen a hoster do. No free user will like this feature, in all probability they’ll hate it and hate rapidshare for it.
Adrive.com is free of that crap, no premium accounsts required
I sure can’t read the damn thing. I had to download something a couple of days ago and I had to get a different picture three times, and then it took such a long time.
Try using a small program called cryptload. You can forget the cats and the dogs and the waiting time. It works for me on my Vista ultimate and is good.
Yeah, it’s pretty brutal. Definitely took me a while to guess which ones were cats and which weren’t. Welcome to the next escalation in the anti-robot wars.

Someone should create a computer program that can read the captchas for us.
They have and thats why there are more difficult CAPTCHA’s because of the stupid programs that read them.

but now they have invented human-unreadable captchs

When you are in a hurry and you have to figure out this capcha just to have to wait another minute because you entered it wrong, it sucks BIG TIME.

This is really crappy. I tried 3 times already and still no go. with each mistake theres a 2.5 minute wait period. Really crappy. I didnt realize there where dogs in the captcha.

at around 0600 GMT, they have a Rapidshare Happy Hour. Capthca images aren’t around then. Atleast they weren’t today. And it really was called Rapidshare Happy Hour.
Interesting to note. It is the next day, and the Happy Hour changed to 0100 GMT. I guess it’s random.
This is stupid. If somebody has a reading dificulty then they will find it impossible to download.
And if you get it wrong you have to wait.
Im sure a dissabitily organisaition could get RS done for this.

I hate the new captcha, but it’s the fault of the ‘hackers’ that try to trick rapidshare.
First there was noch captcha and no waiting time, then waiting time. Then a simple captcha and waiting time and now a fucking annoying captcha plus waiting time.
