Shot in RAW format, the Milky Way shots were 30 seconds exposure F2.8 or F1.8 with 2 second interval between shots, for 3-4 hours run time. ISO 1600

Ten seconds of the video is about 2 hours 20 minutes in real time.

Metropolis II: Hot Wheels as Art [Video]

When does playing with toys become an artform? When you stop calling it a Hot Wheels track and instead dub it kinetic sculpture, apparently. Chris Burden has crossed the admittedly hazy line between Hot Wheels fan and Hot Wheels artist with Metropolis II, a super-massive construction that runs 1100 toy cars in constant motion over its custom-built tracks. The project took four years for 12 people to build.
