Discussing a pretty funky companion (though perhaps not my personal favourite of the lot, she definitely sits miles above Rose Tyler), the BBC America’s Doctor Who special features Catherine Tate’s character from the seminal British scifi. I do have to admit, it was refreshing to see a companion without romantic tension with the Doctor who was still entertaining and kept my attention.
