Actress-model-cosplayer-neuroscientist-computer informations analyst Valerie Perez transformed into Wonder Woman for the recent New York Comic-Con.
Perez fell in love with Wonder Woman when she was about 7 years old when her single, working mother took her into comic book shop. She saw the George Perez reboot of Wonder Woman. She thought Wonder Woman looked like her mother and it even had her last name on the cover — Perez.
The rest is HERSTORY.

Lights off! Full screen! Oh, and if you like the teaser, don’t forget to donate to the kickstarter!
A time-lapse movie of EPIC proportions featuring over 1,000,000 real photographs from space animated to full motion!
This is the newest teaser for “In Saturn’s Rings”, a giant screen space film for IMAXยฎ, giant screen and fulldome theaters distributed by BIG & Digital, coming summer 2014. This DIY, not-for-profit all-volunteer film is from Greensboro, NC, USA filmmaker Stephen van Vuuren with tons of help from volunteer image processors around the world.
Created entirely from real photographs using photoanimation and multiplane photoanimation. No computer-generated images, painting, cloning, tweening, morphing, texture maps, camera projection or 3D models used. Even the “stargate” titles are created using photos – an 8000 photo mosaic of all-sky zoomed really fast to give blurred appearance.
The film is 100% created using only flat 2D photographs (often hundreds or thousands per frame) stitched together for massive hundred megapixel+ resolutions that are scaled and zoomed using techniques developed by the filmmaker, based on Ken Burns and 2.5D photo animation processes.

That’s right geeks, the chocolate artists over at Vosges Haut Chocolat inspired themselves from the Hunger Games and the series’ districts to create a line of chocolate products, including various bars and truffle collections. I’m a big chocolate fan and would LOVE to have a taste of some of these bars! The flavors really do sound delicious! Om nom nom nom.

From Thinkgeek:
Because to anyone worthy of your attentions this is obviously a container modeled after Rhaegal’s egg from Game of Thrones. Perfect for storing pre-hatched dragons (capacity: 1) or whatever strikes your fancy. Maybe exotic cookies from the Eastern Market in Vaes Dothrak? The cookies stored in this container are beyond compare, Khaleesi. It is known.
