The Legend of Zelda Movie Is Coming: Here’s When You Can Watch It

After the box office success of The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Nintendo is ready to bring another legendary franchise to the big screen! The live-action Legend of Zelda movie now has an official release date—March 2027.

The Legend of Zelda Live-Action Movie

The two-year wait will undoubtedly have fans speculating, especially since no casting details have been revealed yet. What we do know is that Wes Ball (Maze Runner trilogy, Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes) is set to direct, with Derek Connolly (Jurassic World, Detective Pikachu) writing the screenplay.

Nintendo is co-financing the film alongside Sony Pictures Entertainment, covering more than 50% of the budget. Sony will handle theatrical distribution. Nintendo has emphasized its push to bring its beloved franchises to audiences beyond gaming, and a Zelda movie is a huge step in that direction.

Will it capture the magic of Hyrule? Who will wield the Master Sword? We’ll have to wait a little longer to find out!

Roy: A Sci-Fi Short That Explores Compassion in a Broken World

In a world where rust meets robotics, Roy tells the story of a reclusive mechanic holed up in a worn-down barn, surrounded by antique remnants fused with futuristic tech. Forgotten by society, he spends his days tinkering… until a visitor steps through his door.

This award-winning sci-fi short isn’t just about gears and circuits; it’s a deeply human tale about compassion in the face of anger and despair. Roy explores how we respond to those hardened by violence and loss, challenging us to see the humanity behind the bitterness.

Snow White’s Live-Action Remake: Now With 100% More Lord Farquaad Energy!

Lord Farquaad

Disney just can’t stop remaking their animated classics, and this time, they’ve taken Snow White—shaken it up, CGI’d the life out of it, and somehow ended up with a fever dream. Why does Snow White look like Lord Farquaad? Why are the dwarves magic and terrifying? And why is the villain’s master plan just… bad?

Luckily, Ryan George is here to answer none of these questions in his latest Pitch Meeting. It’s a wild ride filled with very polite promiscuous women, heroes named Jonathan, and a final battle won through the power of basic memory recall. Check it out! It’s super easy, barely an inconvenience!

Zerg Rush, But Make It Turn-Based: StarCraft Gets a Miniatures Game!

Starcraft Tabletop Game

After nearly a decade of waiting, StarCraft is finally making a return! But instead of launching on PC, it’s deploying straight to your dining room table.

Blizzard Entertainment and Archon Studio have announced the StarCraft Tabletop Miniatures Game, set to release in 2026. Players will command Terran, Zerg, or Protoss forces in tactical, fast-paced battles designed to capture the spirit of the classic RTS. And if that’s not enough, StarCraft board games will follow in 2027, expanding the universe even further.

Starcraft Miniature Game

This isn’t StarCraft 3, but it’s still exciting, especially since Blizzard hasn’t given us much StarCraft content in years. The game will feature high-quality miniatures, deep faction mechanics, and plenty of strategic depth, ensuring it appeals to both tabletop wargamers and longtime fans of the franchise. Plus, let’s be honest—there’s something fun about physically moving tiny Zerglings across a battlefield instead of just watching them swarm on a screen.

For those worried this is just another sci-fi miniatures game, Archon insists they’re staying true to the fast, tactical nature of the RTS. If they pull that off, we could be looking at a game that actually feels like StarCraft—even if you have to roll dice instead of spam hotkeys.

So, what do you think? Are you ready to reclaim the Koprulu Sector in a whole new way, or are you still holding out hope for StarCraft 3? Either way, you might want to start clearing some space on your game shelf—because this battle is heading straight for your tabletop.
