A Time Traveler Walks In — Then Gets Destroyed by a Nerd with a Calendar [Comedy Sketch]

Sci-Fi Movies never pick the right year

This sketch is a fun takedown of one of the biggest sins in science fiction: picking years that are way too soon for the tech they’re showing us. Giant robot battles in 2025? Hoverboards in 2015? Interstellar travel in 2001? Please. My smart fridge still can’t tell if I’m out of milk.

When a time traveler shows up demanding a mysterious device, one guy’s had it up to here with unrealistic future dates, and he’s not afraid to rant about it while possibly getting vaporized.

Watch now for teleportation scams, timeline tantrums, and the most satisfying “I told you so” in sci-fi history:

Blingpool & Wolvebling: A Deadpool & Wolverine Skit Parody

My amazingly talented friends @annma_arts and her husband @yllustrationn have created a video parody of Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman’s hilarious Deadpool & Wolverine skit, which originally aired on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last year, and it’s absolutely perfect and hilarious!

But this isn’t just any parody, it’s a rhinestone-covered labor of love! @annma_arts spent several hundred hours meticulously gluing rhinestones to her Deadpool and Wolverine costumes, and the result is nothing short of dazzling. I’ve seen both in person, and trust me, a video can’t even begin to capture how sparkly and stunning they are. Watch the video above, and check out the photo I took of her at the Winter Edition of Quebec Comiccon below!

On a side note, Hugh Jackman has seen her “Wolvebling” costume on Easter weekend at his show in New York, and he absolutely LOVED IT.

Inside the Future of Loneliness: Best Friend Explores Tech Addiction With a Sci-Fi Twist

In a world not too far from our own, Best Friend offers a glimpse into the dark side of technological dependence. This thought-provoking short sci-fi film explores the story of Arthur, a lonely 30-year-old who relies on an implant called “Best Friend” to create perfect, virtual companions—friends only he can see. The implant, charged through the repeated use of eye drops, allows Arthur to live in a blissful illusion. But when he runs out of drops, reality crashes down.
