LEGO’s New Goonies Set Lets You Relive the Greatest Treasure Hunt of the ’80s

Lego Goonies Set

Break out the Baby Ruths and dust off your treasure maps because The Goonies are back, but this time, they’re in brick form! LEGO just unveiled the long-rumored Goonies LEGO Ideas set, and it’s basically like someone turned your 1980s childhood into a 2912-piece plastic adventure (but without having to dodge actual booby traps).

Lego Goonies Inside

This super detailed diorama packs in everything: the Fratellis’ seaside hideout, One-Eyed Willy’s treasure room, and even that glorious pirate ship hull on the back. There are working boulder drops, trapdoors, a playable Skeleton Organ (just don’t hit the wrong note!), and a lot more!

Lego Goonies Back

And the minifigs? All twelve heroes and villains you could want: Mikey, Mouth, Chunk, Data, Sloth (HEY YOU GUYS!), the Fratellis, and the whole gang ready for one last adventure.

The set launches November 1st for LEGO Insiders ($329.99), with general release on November 4th, and if you order early, you’ll snag The Walsh’ Attic freebie set for free too!

So grab your Copper Bones Skeleton Key, cue up Cyndi Lauper, and remember: Goonies never say die…
