It’s a FINGERPAINTING.

An electronic one, that is.

UK artist Kyle Lambert used the fingerpainting iPad app ‘Procreate’ to paint this portrait of actor Morgan Freeman…in just one month.

In the time-lapse video below, he chronicles his process from start to finish.

  1. I call BS on this.

Clearly they started with a picture of him and then just deconstructed it with Procreate and then ran the process video backwards to “create” the image.

  2. Using Tineye (a reverse image search), you can see that this is based on a real photo. You can also compare the two, and the proportions are EXACT. So either they traced the photo or reverse deconstructed it. There’s no way they got everything in the same exact spot by eye

  3. Procreate is an excellent piece of software, but it doesn’t have the resolution to create the final image. No, it’s an art-over-photo, recorded, then run in reverse.
