On Saturday, June 1, the Smithsonian held a day-long conference entitled “The Future is Here.” The day’s speakers gave entertaining lectures on science, technology, engineering, and math.

Apollo 11’s astronaut Buzz Aldrin and singer Thomas Dolby were two of the event’s guests, but this surprise duet was not listed on the program!
