  1. Why is it always the woman who is not only a non-gamer but despises the stereotypical male gamer? I know lots of women who are gamers, most game more than I do, yet every cartoon, every video, every commentary portrays women as laundry-washing, vacuum cleaning, dish washing anti-gamers who constantly scowl at men who are too obsessed to look away from their screens.

Why can’t women have some fun in these comics?

  2. Also, as far as I know, men aren’t usually like that, either. I’m dating a man-gamer and we pretty much take care of the outside duties of cleaning and all that stuff TOGETHER. Not all man-gamers are obsessed, lazy bums.

  3. I don’t get why the dudes ignore awesome food or their girl in lingerie. I don’t care if it’s multiplayer and I can’t pause. I’ll d/c for good food or my lady. And if I can pause the game…you bet I’m pausing it

  4. While I find this kind of mean and sad that people think that this is the story of all gamers. I have to admit that as a woman in geek culture who games but doesn’t consider ones self a gamer I have had a boyfriend who regularly ignored me lying naked on his bed to play games.

    • should have baked some cookies….

on a serious note, its on all a case-by-case scenario. some people are just too immersed into the gaming, especially now with it being “acceptable” to be a gamer(when i was in school, it was kind of bad/unattractive, like being a “nerd loser”, now its changed…)
