Agreed. Azrael's suit didn't age well, but it didn't seem so bad at the time. "Zur-En-Arrh" on the other hand is a perfect example of why I have zero interest in comics. Writers love finding some obscure nugget from forty or fifty years ago and jamming it into the story, regardless of whether it makes sense or not. It might be great nostalgia for them, but for the rest of us who have no idea what's going on, it just comes off as extremely dumb.
Oh do grow up, many people honestly liked the throw back and found it added an interesting element…

sort of distracted by the artist's distinctive, CV-motivated style (ie batman has this long skinny head and big feet which I'd NEVER associate with him, nor with something this iconic) rather than the costumes, weirdly.
