Don't forget the sexy Black Widow!
Labeled "Earth's Mightiest Heroes", the Avengers originally consisted of Iron Man (Tony Stark), Ant-Man (Dr. Hank Pym), Wasp (Janet Van Dyne), Thor, and the Hulk (Bruce Banner). The original Captain America was discovered by the team in issue #4, trapped in ice, and he joined the group when they revived him.
It seems that Matt's super power is copy and paste…
This argument happens a lot with Marvel. Yes the X-Men are a group, yes the Avengers are a group, yes the fantastic 4 are a group. Just pretend that all the movies take place at the same time. For example, while the FF are fight the Galactus cloud thing, the X-men are doing their last stand with Magneto, and the Avengers are doing their thing with Hydra or the Skrulls or Kang or whoever. The fact is they can't budget a movie, or a comic with every hero. Its too messy and it just gets tiring. However the simple fact that all these super hero groups have their own problems to deal with at similar timing is a very reasonable conclusion to draw to.
The real problem with the Avengers movie is the leftist intentional mis-casting of a major character. Nick Fury is white. How much outcry would there be if Blade was made white? Or Storm? This BS is arbitrary, one sided, and as such, ultimately, racist. (but in a way that is viewed as ok by the majority of the populace)
