Harry Potter Marriage Proposal [Picture]

----------------

In the same vein as the Pokemon marriage proposal we posted earlier today, here’s how Reddit user Trehlo proposed to his girlfriend. Oh, and be sure to check out the title of the chapter where the rings sits on. Pressure much, future wife?

  1. I think the main issue is that everyone I've dated would say "You have damaged a book, you will be lucky if you are allowed to sleep on the couch".

Very cool apart from that though.

    • LOL that was my first thought, too! Sacrilege…damaging any book like that. Otherwise, yeah, very sweet.

  2. I wouldn't do this or allow/forgive anyone to did it UNLESS it was an used copy bought for like, 7 bucks. If it was though, I probably wouldn't be able to say no ♥.

  3. i agree that this is sacrilege to ruin a book like that. now if the ring was sitting on that page and that he asked her about something said in that book and that chapter, that would have been cooler and not the destruction of a book. kudos to the guy who did this, i hope she said yes.

  5. First : What did he do to that book ?!! Taht guy's a monster !
Second : Is Harry Potter a geek thing ?! I don't think so, but that's my point of vue, I see it more as a fanboy thing…

  6. Aww, that's cute. I'd forgive it as long as he bought a new copy and didn't do it to mine, lol. :)

  7. It's a nice touch that the name of the chapter is The Unbreakable Vow. But yes, sacrilege is what came to my mind first

  8. i dont think he wrecked the book looks like he made a box page and put it over the orginal page. good job(if the book was wrecked shame shame shame)hope she said yes.

  9. Honestly, it's a paperback copy of the book so I'm sure if they are that much of a hardcore fan, they probably have them all in hardback (like myself), so a paperback is okay to mess up.  Very sweet way to propose :)

  10. This is incredibly sweet ^^
She’s probably going to marry someone she loves, the hell with HP book u.u
