Made by Jamie Bell as an end of class project for an art course, A Brief History of Pretty Much Everything is a brilliant stop motion short produced entirely out of biro pens. The whole thing has been drawn on over 2100 pages, which took him about 3 weeks to complete.
- A Short Visual History of Videogames (3D)
- The History of Nikola Tesla – a Short Story
- History of Stonehenge
- Trillions: A Short Expedition into the History of Computing

This is impressive. Puts to shame the little stick men cartoon films I used to create. Time perhaps to have another go!
This is pretty cool. It’s not really a history of everything but its a cool animation either way.
That was great. I had a few real laugh out loud moments. He better have gotten an A.
Pretty cool. Amazing how much violence exists either as part of the food chain or evolutionary process. Surely there is more of “everything” than all that. Maybe not. Nice animation, though.
Finished off with a nod to Monty Python. Well done, sir. Well done.
