Do You Wanna Date My Avatar?

Sometimes I’m just so happy that the Internet exists. This video is one of the reasons why.

If you’ve been on Twitter today you might have seen the #datemyavatar hash tag, and the video is now #1 on iTunes (perhaps thanks to Joss Whedon’s call to action to destroy the Swiftbot). It’s co-written and performed by Felicia Day, featuring the rest of The Guild cast. You might remember Felicia’s lovely singing voice from Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog, though she gets plus two charisma for the sex appeal on this one, at least. Hotter than reality by far, indeed.

  1. Ha, i wasnt going to watch it but im glad i did, i watched the first season of the Guild, and it was funny but weird as well, but i wasnt going to watch anymore, maybe i will watch some of the second season one day.

  5. Loved Dr Horrible's Sing-along Blog. Watched the Guild's first 2 seasons, the footage posted here of the Guild cast at ComiCon, and even caught Felicia Day's cameos in The Legend of Neil. Oh, don't forget the Sears and Capital One commercials…. Wow I sound like a stalker….

    I was just about to start searching for this video when I saw Casey had posted it on here. Thanks for the post, and thanks for the pic.
