Sure, Boston Dynamic’s Spot is super impressive, but can we ride it? No, not yet. In the meantime, Chinese electric vehicle maker XPeng has just unveiled their new robotic unicorn, which could be ridden into battle, albeit at a very slow speed. According to the company, it can also offer “human companionship,” whatever that means. Here’s some footage of the unicorn, but unfortunately, we only see the prototype in action at the end of the video, and there’s not much going on. Check it out:
